MOOSELY MOVES
A Movement & Music Experience for Children
This program is designed to provide children of all abilities the opportunity to enhance strength, balance, coordination, mobility and body awareness.
The class includes interactive and cooperative games, music & dramatics that build positive interactions through cooperation, acceptance, inclusion and fun. Children will work on social skills, while Kelli will focus on group dynamics that help to reinforce interactive language concepts.
CREATIVE ARTS
Creative Art Therapy can provide individuals with time to explore the inner self and provide avenues to express feelings that are sometimes not easy to identify or put into words.
People suffering from trauma, depression, addictions, loss of loved one, or abuse can benefit from creative art interventions.

WHY TETON ADVENTURE CAMP?
Teton Adventure Camp is a summer camp designed to provide a fun, safe, and natural therapeutic environment for children ages 3 - 17 of all abilities. All activities are facilitated by certified therapists and target speech, occupational, and recreational skills.
Camp activities will encourage development of leisure and recreation skills, promote conceptual development play, problem-solving, motor skill development, language development, and build peer relations. Camp professionals will work to address the unique and individual needs of each child, while communicating with families to help generalize newly acquired skills into daily life at home, school and in the community.

Medical Needs:
Camp staff is not trained to manage medical needs. All medications and special medical needs must be administered and managed by a parent, caregiver or designated medical professional.

Kelli Jones M.A., CTRS
Kelli is a nationally Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, CTRS. She currently serves as president of Northern Rockies Recreation Therapy Association. Kelli received her M.A & B.S. in Recreation Therapy from The University of Toledo with concentrations in the creative arts & as a child life specialist. Kelli has been providing Recreation Therapy services for over 5 years in private home health care, educational, medical, and community settings. She has provided these services to children with autism spectrum disorders & other developmental disabilities, at-risk youth, adults with mental illness, and elders in long term care. A highlight from her career was serving as a volunteer caring clown in pediatric oncology units & nursing homes with Dr. Patch Adams throughout the Midwest. Kelli is owner of High Five Recreation and loves helping children & families have fun!
Nicole Carver, M.A. CCC-SLP
Nicole received her B.A. in Special Education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and her M.A. in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. Nicole is a certified and practicing Speech-Language Pathologist. She also has a preschool teaching background including working with special needs children. Nicole completed her graduate internship at Boystown National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE while working with children of all ages with speech and language disorders. Nicole has experience in The Hanen Program for Parents- "It Takes Two to Talk" which addresses preschool children with language delays, meeting the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related social communication difficulties. She has experience with The DIR® Model (Developmental, Individual-Difference, Relationship-Based), the Floortime Model, and interventions for different subtypes of Autistic Spectrum, Pervasive Developmental, and multi-System Developmental Disorders. Nicole has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Jackson, WY for four years. Her experience across this four year span includes time spent at The Learning Center and in her own private practice.
Jessica Johnson M.S., OTR/L
Jessica is a pediatric occupational therapist and has been practicing in Jackson for 5 years. She received her BS and MS in Occupational Therapy from The Sage Colleges in Troy, NY. She completed graduate work in Alternative Therapies for the Health Professional. Prior to moving to Jackson she spent time researching the efficacy of sensory integration (SI) treatment when working with children on the autistic spectrum (ASD). She worked closely with mentors in the SI and ASD fields while working for an early intervention program in Rhode Island, which included home based and integrated services within a preschool setting. Jessica has additional training in Hippotherapy, Yoga For The Child With Special Needs, The DIR® Model (Developmental, Individual-Difference, Relationship-Based), and the Floortime Model. Jessica is the owner of Grand Steps Therapy and works with children and families in a variety of settings within the community.
